Rawlen M.T. Mantanona, Esq. is the managing partner of the Cabot Mantanona LLP. He is first and utmost a courtroom attorney and is sought out specifically by clients who seek aggressive litigation representation. His practice emphasizes both on major criminal defense and general civil litigation.
Attorney Mantanona’s criminal practice encompasses both federal and local territorial criminal defense practice. Aside from general criminal defense, his current focus is on white collar, public corruption and complex criminal defense cases.
Attorney Mantanona has also developed a general civil litigation practice dealing with general business, corporate, insurance defense, real property disputes, and family law.
Attorney Mantanona has extensive legal experience in representing government entities as legal counsel and trial counsel for governmental commissions and departments.
Attorney Mantanona is a graduate of the University of California at San Diego, acquiring a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in United States History and Political Science. He is also a graduate of the University of San Diego Law School where he acquired the Juris Doctorate. He is admitted in the Supreme Court of Guam, United States District Court of Guam, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and United States Supreme Court. Prior to going into private practice Mr. Mantanona was an Assistant Attorney General with the Government of Guam, Department of Law, Prosecution Division, where he was the violence crime prosecutor.
Attorney Mantanona's community service includes currently serving as the Criminal Justice Act Panel Representative for the District Court of Guam. Mr. Mantanona was honored in 2006 by his election as President of the Guam Bar Association. He currently hold the board position of Past President.
